6-Day Best of Kenya Samburu Naivasha & Masai Mara Safari

Begin the tour by driving through the highlands and past Mt Kenya and arrive Samburu National Reserve where you will enjoy amazing game drives and searching for the Big 5 animals and Special 5 game. Today head out for an afternoon game drive and dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Head out for an early morning game drive and evening drives where you search for the wildlife. Find the Special Five species categorized as vulnerable and are African Darter, Great Egret, White-headed Vulture, Martial Eagle and the Yellow-billed Ox-pecker. Also view the large elephants near the Ewaso Nyiro River. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Early morning we depart Samburu and head towards the Rift valley arriving Lake Naivasha for Lunch. Check in and relax before heading out for a boat ride, bird watching and Walking Safari along the lake. Here you walk with the animals and get to take amazing photos with them. Head back to your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early morning depart Naivasha at 8am after breakfast and drive through the Rift Valley escarpments onto the Maasai Mara Plains. Here you enjoy an Enroute game drive as you drive to your budget tented camp. Arrive for lunch and spend the afternoon time relaxing before heading out for afternoon game viewing drive searching for the Big 5 among other animals. Enjoy the sunset as you drive back to the camp. Dinner and overnight entertainment at the camp.

This day experience a full day game viewing drive after morning breakfast. Head out to the Mara plains and drive through the savannah in search of game. Animals expected to see are the big five among others. Enjoy lunch at the banks of the Mara River and get a chance to see the great Wildebeest Migration happening (July to September). Continue with your drive and stopover at the border of Maasai Mara and Serengeti National reserve to take photos. End your day by enjoying a Cultural Visit at the Maasai Manyattas where you get to interact with them. Evening dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Depart Maasai Mara with a stopover for a cultural tour at the Maasai Village where you learn about their culture. Drive back to Nairobi and drop off at your residence or at the airport for your flight back home.
