2-Day Lake Baringo-Lake Bogoria Tour

We will have an early morning pick up and drive north of Nairobi to Lake Baringo, with a short stopover at the great rift valley View point for scenery and pictures, we will later on drive to Baringo arriving in good time for Lunch. After a short rest we will drive to Lake Baringo for a 2 hours excursion and a walk in the lake. We will have a guided tour at one of the islands and enjoy lots of birdlife, Crocodiles, Hippos and many more. We will later enjoy a sunset and return back to the hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast we will drive to lake Bogoria commonly known for its high numbers of Flamingoes, Birdlife, beautiful sceneries, Hot springs and Geysers. We will also have a chance to boil eggs and enjoy at the Geysers. The lake is alkaline, feeding blue-green algae which in turn feed flamingoes. At times the number of flamingoes feeding in the lake may be as high as two million. Raptors such as tawny eagles prey on the flamingoes. Mammals are a rare to be sighted but on rare occasions Kudus, Dik-diks etc. can be spotted We will later on drive to Nairobi with a lunch stop enroute and drop you at your Hotel.
